Deborah- Adult Portraits

My mother, an easy but picky model. Much, much easier than trying to chase after a very active 3-year old. It wasn't very nice out, but turned out to be great photo-taking weather. 

This was my first time experimenting with having something colored in a black and white photo.

Braden 'The Blur' - June 2011

This boy is a pain to try to get photos of. He literally does not stop moving or running for barely a second. Those rare times he does stop at all, he makes sure he does not look anywhere near the direction of the camera. 

I call him 'Braden the Blur' because of the blur in most of his photos, and because he's running off before I can even get my fingers positioned on the camera. But I try. 

Police Academy Graduation

Yeah, that's right. I still exist.

I got lazy this winter. We'll call is first trimester laziness. At least I have an excuse. That, and I was waiting for a new camera lens. I finally got the new lens, but so far the spring has been nothing but rainy. So I exist but I've been holding out on taking pictures. Until today. It wasn't planned, but I was able to get a few nice shots at my brother's graduation from the Police Academy. Nothing fancy, since he hates pictures and we were lucky he even smiled for them, but fairly nice shots nonetheless.
